The Goalie Training Institute was built with the purpose of developing goaltenders and supporting them through their hockey careers. Each The Goalie Training Institute coach looks to exceed client expectations by building personal relationships, developing individual learning plans, and becoming mentors for every athlete to ensure success on and off the ice.

AARON GREEN

Aaron has coached for more than 15 years, studying under Las Vegas Golden Knights Goaltending Consultant Mike Rosati.

Aaron has a great deal of coaching experience working with athletes from beginner level to NCAA. He provides a strong technical and psychological perspective on the position, helping each goaltender he instructs reach new heights. With his positivity and passion for teaching, Aaron helps goalies find confidence and reach personal success.

Aaron played 5 years of junior hockey in the OJHL with the Collingwood Blues, Seguin Bruins, Stouffville Spirit and St. Michael’s Buzzers. After a successful junior career, Aaron went on to play in the NCAA with the Brockport Golden Eagles, where he still holds numerous school records.

BRAD FOGAL

With almost 20 years of coaching experience, Brad’s knowledge and experience has played an integral part in creating GTI’s curriculum and core fundamentals.

GTI is years in the making and a dream come true for Brad. Before teaming up with Aaron to start GTI, Brad owned and operated a training centre in Kingston, Ontario. During his junior career and summer months home from college and while playing pro, Brad was starting his coaching career. Working with young goalies from the York Region area as well as other junior and up-and-coming college goalies.

In his playing career, Brad played 5 years of junior hockey in the OJHL with the Huntsville Otters, Newmarket Hurricanes and Pickering Panthers. Brad then went on to the NCAA with the Adrian College Bulldogs, where he broke many NCAA records while compiling a 93-11-2 record, with 2 Frozen Four appearances. After a very successful NCAA career, Brad played professionally in the CHL, ECHL and AHL.

While at Adrian College, Brad studied Exercise Science, Athletic Training and Education. It was Brad’s hope that one day his knowledge would allow him to provide the most comprehensive development to his students.

TYE GRESCHUK

Head Goaltending Consultant
Main Locations: Barrie/South Simcoe & GTA

Tye is a Goaltending Consultant at The Goalie Training Institute. Tye has coached for more than 15 years, studying under Las Vegas Golden Knights Goaltending Consultant, Mike Rosati.

Tye has been coaching goalies in the Barrie region for many years and brings a ton of experience to GTI. Tye is very passionate about coaching and instils a strong work ethic within each goaltender he works with.

From a playing perspective, Tye played 5 years of junior hockey, spending time in the GMOHL with the Midland Flyers and then in the NOJHL with Kirkland Lake Gold Miners. Upon a successful junior career, Tye decided to attend Carleton University on a baseball scholarship.

JERETT ROONEY

Head Goaltending Consultant
Main Locations: Toronto East & Durham Region

Jerett began coaching in 2004 after playing college hockey in the OCAA for Seneca College. The love of the game kept him playing until 2020. That passion is now completely focused on helping goalies develop and reach their goals.

Over the years as a coach, Jerett has worked with a variety of goalie schools as a guest instructor, as well as mentoring goalies through private, semi-private, team, and organization programs from TimBits to NCAA.

Jerett’s a student of the game and actively collaborates with his mentors and fellow goalie coaches to deliver training programs that help goalies succeed in the ever evolving game of hockey.

JESSE HODGSON

Goaltending Consultant

Jesse is a Goaltending Consultant at The Goalie Training Institute. Jesse joined GTA as a student while he was playing Jr in 2018. After his playing career was done he joined our team of coaches. Jesse has coached for 10 years, studying under some of the best goaltending consultants in North America.

Jesse has been coaching goalies across Ontario for many years and brings a ton of experience to GTI. He provides his students with a strong technical background on the position which allows him to build credibility with his goaltenders and accelerate their development.

As a minor hockey goaltender, he played with the Whitby Wildcats where he won an OMHA in his Midget year. After a successful minor hockey career, Jesse played 4 years of junior hockey, spending time in GOJHL with the St. Thomas Stars and then in the OPJHL with the Newmarket Hurricanes and Toronto Patriots.

IAN ADRIANO

Goaltending Consultant

Ian joined GTA as a student in 2021 and then as a coach in 2022.
He has been coaching for 10+ years, coaching numerous summer camps during his summers throughout his playing career.

Ian has coached goalies throughout the GTA, Barrie, Ottawa and Rochester (USA) areas. He has always been passionate about helping young goalies achieve their full potential.

During his playing career, Ian played 4 seasons for the Ottawa Jr. Senators in the CCHL, leading the team to back-to-back finals appearances before playing 5 seasons of D1 NCAA hockey with the Rochester Institute of Technology.

BRADY SARAZIN

Goaltending Consultant

Brady has been coaching and mentoring goaltenders for 8 years through a variety of goalie summer camps as well as the York Simcoe Express AAA organization.

Brady has coached goalies in and around the York Region and GTA area. He has a great attitude, coaching presence, and is always seeking to help young goalies to be able to maximize their potential, while continuously improving and learning their craft. Brady had a 12 year minor hockey career, before choosing to attend Queen’s University. While enrolled at Queen’s, Brady had the opportunity to play for PJHL’s Amherstview Jets, where he set the record for most shutouts in a season by a Jets goalie, all while maintaining excellent academic standing at Queen’s.

Brady enthusiastically continues to learn and enjoys working with GTI’s elite goaltenders!
